De espacio y tiempo. La temporalidad en la fotografía de larga duración

Abstract

[EN] Time inevitably adheres to photography, from the early catches over eight hours of exposure to the most fleeting snapshots. The existence of this time raises questions about its nature, its different manifestations, and their way to affecting both photography and its reception by the audience. In this project we develop a practical investigation on how can we register long exposures in photography, moving the point of view and forcing the images to become visual abstractions.

[ES] El tiempo se adhiere irremediablemente a la fotografía, desde las primeras capturas de más de ocho horas de exposición hasta las instantáneas más fugaces. La existencia de este tiempo provoca cuestiones acerca de su naturaleza, sus diferentes manifestaciones, y su manera de afectar tanto a la fotografía como a su recepción por parte del espectador. Con este proyecto llevamos a cabo una investigación práctica sobre cómo se registran las largas exposiciones en la fotografía, desplazando el punto de vista y forzando a las imágenes a convertirse en abstracciones visuales.
