SUMMARY The ability to maintain current maps of any place or for taking aerial images of a specific site, the latest possible with high resolution and is one of the big problems that companies are planners, municipalities, land registration offices and to the Cartographic Institute, due to its high cost and timing for capturing aerial imagery. The development of new technologies has given the possibility of making certain applications to provide solutions to lack of recent mapping, high accuracy and availability, regardless of major satellite companies or airbrush, using methodologies that propose a low cost and high portability to any place. I propose a methodology to generate and update cadastral mapping using a system for obtaining low-altitude aerial images, which works by remote control using an unmanned helicopter, which in turn serves as the airborne platform in a series of equipment that allows taking aerial photographs in the desired location through a GPS receiver that indicates the position of the helicopter during a predefined flight path and a ground monitoring, which show the impact of flight on a laptop with attachments of video and telemetry transmitters. The compact digital camera on board the helicopter, made the image capture at the site planned which will be stored in a compact card and then be subsequently processed digital orthophotos and vector maps in different formats as a final product, through photogrammetry software. The methodology proposed for Venezuelan municipality as a pilot area within the national program for generation and updating of national register of Venezuela, which seeks to address deficiencies identified by the execution of that program, and meet the requirements of the Technical Standards Cadastral Venezuelans.
