This thesis aims to discuss a problem that has arisen since the latest technological advances relating to the ubiquity of mobile devices and the need for formal and technological adaptation from the point of view of man / machine interaction involving effective use thereof to learn about contents. The existence of numerous methods of interaction focusing on education today, such as e-learning and m-learning require specific adjustment that takes into account the limitations and restrictions that involve and that directly affect the development of user-oriented interfaces. The paper will center on analyzing influential factors, at social and technological levels that, through their use by students, who are aware of these means at a social level. The problem related to the creation of specific contents on this support will be studied and their influence on users. Along parallel lines a multiple, comparative analysis of applications for mobile devices for education will be carried out. Finally, their functional use and usability among potential users at university level will be validated by processing statistical data obtained from a survey designed to evaluate the applications generated based on research and development through the national PAULEX Universitas HUM2007-66479-CO2-01 project.
