Information about funding sources or sponsorship that supported the collection of the data: Agencia Estatal de Investigacin - Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovacin y Universidades, Project I+D+i PID2020-118495RB-I00 and human resources funding PRE2021-098777. General description: The data have been obtained from experimental tests by using the saw-cut technique in prestressed concrete and have been used in scientific contributions presented in international conferences and published in journal papers. Keywords: prestressed concrete, structure, assessment, service life, test, modelling, multi-level strategy, residual state, prestressing los -------------------------- SHARING/ACCESS INFORMATION -------------------------- Open Access to data: Open Date end Embargo: The data are free of embargo Licenses/restrictions placed on the data, or limitations of reuse: Creative Commons CC-BY Citation for and links to publications that cite or use the data: Links/relationships to previous or related data sets: No previous data. Links to other publicly accessible locations of the data: No other publicity accessible locations of the data. -------------------- DATA & FILE OVERVIEW -------------------- File list: PREPER database consists of a compressed folder including the experimental data from three series of beams having different cross-section. The Excel files containing all the data collected and the published contributions are included. There is also a README.txt file which explains the contents and structure of the database. Relationship between files: n/a. Type of version of the dataset: The data comprise the direct input data from the experimental test and the step-by-step back-calculation to obtain the representative parameters of the stress-strain state of the isolated concrete block. Total size: 38 MB -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: n/a. Methods for processing the data: back-calculations in the context of time-dependent concrete prestress losses. Software- or Instrument-specific information needed to interpret the data, including software and hardware version numbers: No special software or hardware is required to interpret the data. Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: not required. Environmental/experimental conditions: laboratory conditions for structural concrete members. Describe any quality-assurance procedures performed on the data: The results have been previously validated by the authors to ensure their accuracy. Also, the published contributions followed a peer-review process typical, providing an additional layer of quality assurance for both the data and the methods used. -------------------------- DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION -------------------------- The number of variables varied according to the specific initial design of the tested beams, which included cross-sectional parameter, limitations of stresses, prestress level, age of tensioning, age of testing, number of cuts, depth sequence of cuts, and concrete properties (strength, modulus of deformation, shrinkage). The lists of variables, including abbreviations, units of measure, codes or symbols, are clearly explained in each Excel file associated with the respective tested beam. In addition, this information is detailed in the published scientific contributions in the main texto r using tables and/or figures, to ensure full understanding of the data.
