EVOLUTION OF RESISTANCE OF CONCRETE IN WORK. METHODS OF PREDICTION TO START TRIALS OF CONTROL OF THE CONFORMITY OF THE CONCRETE. ABSTRACT The last decade has been a landmark in it refers to the use and development of concrete in Spain, particularly in the Valencian Community. This in large part not only because the increased production but the development of instructions governing the control of the concrete, which in recent years have been three instructions have been published (EH-91, EHE-98 and EHE-08). Economic considerations and the great increase in the construction of concrete buildings have made the search for shorter construction periods. This has given rise to the need to modify or create new methods of calculation of the period of striking reflecting the evolution of the current concrete. The present doctoral thesis is the result of this imperative need. Therefore, based on the data of compressive strength obtained more than 67.700 test tubes prepared concrete work in the province of Valencia, during the period of 1997 to 2011, has developed a new method of calculating the period of striking and another has been adjusted. At the same time have been analyzed and compared the different methods of the period of striking, as well as for the calculation of the coefficients of cargo in the concrete structure. This research has also allowed to know the influence of parameters such as the type of cement, water/cement ratio, temperature, conservation of the test tubes in work time, content of cement, additions, additives and consistency in the evolution of resistance of the prepared concrete work.
