In essence, this thesis is to understand and dirisgida use of computer-generated synthetic image in design field, has attempted to combine the knowledge on visual perception in humans and implications methodological techniques and creating visual images virtual. Such understanding will facilitate the search for those parameters defining the problem in stages creative processes in image perception involving prior knowledge or at least learned the language of communication that offers image synthetic and virtual. This makes it an affordable tool in the industrial sector and particularly in the furniture sector as support the creative phases involved in developing products. The thesis is broken down into five areas focused knowledge of the areas of the image from the synthetic studies involving the most basic level of perception conditions until further specific problems arising the creation of the virtual image of a realistic movable support and / or product design tool. All this is summarized in: - The study of philosophy in the perceptual precesos image, together with psychological factors defining the perceptual limits of human beings. - The study of the impact of the synthetic image in the field of visual communication and in particular the processes of visual recognition as a first order. - The methodological study of the creative phases necessary for obtaining the synthetic image. - Knowledge of the technical processes involved in synthetic image generation in computer and in display device and monitor. - The application of the methodology in the field of image industrial design, within the various stages of development a particular product and in the furniture sector and related industries.
