Publicación El verbo y su enseñanza. Hacia un modelo de enseñanza de la gramática basado en la actividad reflexiva(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2018-06-28) Fabregat Barrios, Santiago[ES] Reseña del libro siguiente: Camps, A. y Ribas Seix, T. This paper is based on the results of our previous work, which demonstrated that in the opposition between the SP and the I, each verb tense has a cluster of semantic attributes which define them, depending on the context in which they occur and on the speaker’s communicative purpose. These attributes are related not only to the grammatical aspect of the verb but to the discursive function that each tense fulfils in a given text. In order to confirm this hypothesis, a corpus of narrative texts has been compiled, from which the uses of Spanish Preterit and Imperfect have been analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. Data analysis demonstrates that the SP prototype has the attributes of a ‘completed event’ and of a ‘telic event’ whereas the Imperfect prototype has mainly the attribute of ‘description’. On the basis of the results obtained, we have developed a teaching proposal of the SP-I opposition for students of the first year of a secondary school in Buenos Aires, Argentina. [EN] Within the proposed theme, this article has as its overall objective to provide a search that shows children’s texts of the third grade of Childhood Education and second-year-elementary-school students on traditional tales starring wise women. To obtain the texts has been designed and implemented a didactic sequence. The results achieved and the analysis carried out show that the writings made by children are successful texts. Stand out, to conclude, some key aspects of the investigation: the proposal of activities with regard to the school and the approach of different mediations as didactic sequence and literary texts, which become an engine of learning for the children.Publicación Propuesta de plantilla análisis de manuales ELE españoles desde 1986-2016(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2018-06-28) Del Pozo Díez, Mercedes[EN] The purpose of this article is to elaborate a template to serve as a guideline for the analysis of ELE textbooks. We have conducted a widely deep study on the existing data on the topic, focusing mainly on reading comprehension skills of literary texts. Our targeted corpus has helped us to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of textbooks for an effective teaching. [EN] The article is about how advertising offers teaching and learning opportunities, mainly, in terms of the lin-guistics issues. Specifically, it focuses on how teachers can utilise the teaching possibilities of advertising discourse in order to incorporate electronic literacy into the education system. Firstly, this article draws attention to the advantages of advertising to teach language, with special emphasis on the development of communicative competence. Secondly, it justifies the didactic potential of the digital advertising text, and its variants, in order to teach electronic literacy. Finally, it incorporates an example of didactic proposal, which shows the didactic applicability of digital advertising discourse. [EN] Once upon a time... when tales were not always nice and happy but sometimes full of violence and sexua-lity. This article tries to understand better these ancient fairy tales, to learn their origins (even before Perrault’s and Grimm Brothers’ versions) and to use them in Primary and Secondary education, also for teenagers and adults, with digital creative writing. It begins with three of the best-known fairy tales: Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and The steadfast tin soldier. The results from the research include teaching strategies that actively engage students in the learning process through 2.0 creative writing from traditional tales. [EN] The teaching of minority languages has certain educational characteristics that should not be ignored, for their sociolinguistic implications are enormous. Very often the contact that students have with them is limited, only to the teaching hours. This is the reason why the exclusive or priority use of traditional methodologies should be questioned, because it does not guarantee a significant communicative competence. Focusing on the Galician language, this paper reflects on the urgency of adopting innovative and attractive teaching methodologies, while simultaneously providing further insights into the role of grammar in these contexts. [EN] In recent years different voices have begun to emerge advocating the application of information and communication technologies (ICT ) to different ways of reading promotion. These voices stand as a counterpoint to others that traditionally have blamed new technologies for the decline of reading habits. Social reading, or reading 2.0, has shown that these new resources take advantage of ludic elements to bring children closer to reading. Booktubers have become new literary critics among young readers thanks to the combination of elements such as audiovisual resources or a clear and familiar language. That is why it is essential undergra-duate students be able to take advantage of internet platforms’ playful nature, but always paying attention to the content and language as they are trained to do. In this article we present a practice carried out with Primary Education students who prepared the presentation of a book in a YouTube channel. Besides, they reflected on aspects to take into account so that the video will fulfill its main function: promote reading. [EN] Intangible Cultural Heritage can contribute to the development of students’ and pupils’ critical thinking, digital and informational competences and multimodal literacy, as shown by a teaching experience carried out by students of the Grades of Early Childhood and Primary Education at the Public University of Navarre.
