[EN] The project consists of the design of a heliport for surveillance, rescue and fire extinguishing, commissioned by the public environmental management company of Castilla-La Mancha (GEACAM). The project contains a surface-level heliport planned for daytime VFR operations, with a FATO / TLOF, two helicopter stands, as well as a building for the rest and stay of the staff, another building for the protection of firefighting vehicles and materials, fuel facility, weather station, and rescue and firefighting facility. However, the academic project is going to be focused on the aeronautical design of the base, without going into details of architectural issues of the buildings. Thus, it describes the process and the decisions that have been taken in the different phases that a heliport has to overcome from the beginning of the design until its legalization by the competent aeronautical authority.
