Resumen
[ES] El rápido avance de las tecnologías del Internet de las Cosas o IoT y su amplio uso en
múltiples campos a propiciado la aparición de un gran número de nuevos paradigmas
tecnológicos como la industria 4.0.
Adentrándonos en este hemos diseñado, desarrollado e implementado un sistema de
gestión de la información de dispositivos IoT en entornos industriales como proyecto
dentro de la empresa José Borrell S.A. dedicada a la fabricación de maquinaria industrial
para el procesado de frutos secos.
Por otra parte, hemos aprovechado los parámetros obtenidos comúnmente por los
dispositivos receptores en redes inalámbricas, como el indicador de la potencia de la
señal o RSSI, para calcular una aproximación de la localización del dispositivo dentro de
nuestras instalaciones.
Tras una fase de experimentación y análisis, se ha evaluado la capacidad para estimar
la ubicación a partir del RSSI en un entorno industrial. La naturaleza del mismo supone
problemas como las reflexiones generadas por la arquitectura del espacio y los materiales
metálicos cercanos, así como los constantes cambios en el entorno y las interferencias de
la maquinaria próxima, lo cual implica la necesidad de basarse en métodos adicionales
para minimizar el error en la estimación de la ubicación.
[EN] The fast advancement of Internet of Things technologies or IoT and their wide use in multiple fields has led to the emergence of a large number of new technological paradigms such as the 4.0 industry. Based on this we have designed, developed and implemented an information management system for IoT devices in industrial environments as a project within the company José Borrell S.A. dedicated to the manufacture of industrial machinery for the processing of nuts. On the other hand, we have taken advantage of the parameters commonly obtained by receiving devices in wireless networks, such as the signal strength indicator or RSSI, to calculate an approximation of the location of the device within our facilities. After a phase of experimentation and analysis, the ability to estimate the location from the RSSI in an industrial environment has been evaluated. The nature of it involves problems such as reflections generated by the architecture of the space and close metallic materials, as well as constant changes in the environment and interference from nearby machinery, which implies the need to rely on additional methods to minimize the error in the estimation of the location.
