UNDERNEATH THE UNTITLED : POSREALITY AND PIXEL.CREACIÓN DE UN FOTOLIBRO DESDE LA POSREALIDAD PIXELADA

Abstract

Underneath the untitled; posreality and pixel plantea una reflexio¿n sobre el papel que ocupa la imagen fotogra¿fica en la actualidad, sus li¿mites, sus cualidades y sus diferentes manifestaciones, y de como e¿stas determinan el concepto de posrealidad. Mediante la manipulacio¿n de la imagen fotogra¿fica desde su elemento constitutivo, el pi¿xel, se evidenciara¿ la ambigu¿edad de los archivos digitales, cuestionando la realidad abstracta y confusa de los dispositivos hipermedia. Metodolo¿gicamente se plantea una descontextualizacio¿n de la ima- gen digital mediante la materializacio¿n de ella misma a trave¿s de un foto- libro, siendo este proyecto a su vez un ana¿lisis de los elementos que constitu- yen las publicaciones editoriales.

Underneath the untitled, posreality and pixel poses a reflection on the role that the photographic image occupies today, its limits, its qualities and its different manifestations, and how they determine the concept of postreality. Through the manipulation of the photographic image from its consti- tuent element, the pixel, the ambiguity of the virtual archives will be evident, questioning the abstract and confused reality of the hypermedia devices. Methodologically, a decontextualization of the digital image is consi- dered through the materialization of it through a photo-book, being this pro- ject at the same time an analysis of the elements that make up the editorial publications.
