De bruto a brillante

Abstract

Este proyecto pretende mostrar una serie de ilustraciones de piedras semipreciosas representadas desde su forma en bruto (con apenas manipulación de su forma natural) hasta su forma final ya tallada. La selección de piedras ha sido determinada por su variedad de color y su interacción con la luz, por lo tanto no he escogido piedras opacas ni monocromas.

Serán ilustraciones de tres piedras distintas con colores diferentes y cada una de estas tendrá una serie de 4 dibujos, y la técnica principal utilizada es la acuarela.

Entre los objetivos principales de este proyecto están: Hacer una representación colorida de ciertas piedras semipreciosas y unir tres ámbitos distintos: la ilustración, la gemología y el diseño de joyería.

This project aims to show a series of illustrations of semiprecious stones represented from its raw form to its final shape already carved. The selection of the stones has been determined by its color variety and its interaction with light, therefore I have not chosen opaque or monochrome stones.

It will be illustrations of three different stones with different colors and each of these will have a series of 4 drawings, and the main artistic technique is watercolor.

Among the main objectives of this project are: Make a colorful representation of certain semiprecious stones and unite three different areas: illustration, gemology and jewelry design.
