[EN] The industry where the project is carried out focus its activity on the manufacture of electronic boards for different fields like industrial, aerospace and defense, which require compliance with exhaustive regulations and safety processes for the reliability and quality of the final product.
The extreme conditions to which these boards are exposed once installed (chemical substances, humidity, vapors, temperature fluctuations) make it necessary to protect them to avoid deterioration and loss of early functionality. This protection is acquired with the conformal coating treatment, a coating that adapts to the morphology of the electronic board and where thickness plays an important role.
In this project the implementation and profitability of the new ASIMTEK SL 940 equipment is studied for the coating of these boards with the aim of providing new opportunities to the process. Specifically with the realization of this project is intended to improve the quality and automation of the conformal coating process, as well as increasing productivity by releasing resources to qualify and distribute them in other processes.
