dc.description.abstract | [EN] The Oceanic Posidonia is an endemic plant spread ali over the Mediterranean Sea which plays a very important role in the marine ecosystem and regarding the protection of the coasts. The presence of this species on determined regions is easily known because of the accumulation of large amounts of residues of this plant in most of the beaches of the Mediterranean. lt implies a difficult and expensive process of collection and management of this matter. In t his work, a 100% biodegradable and antibacteri al nonwoven is developed using as raw material the fibers of this plant and as a binder chitosan. To improve the appearance of the product they undergo a descrudado and bleaching process. The fibers are characterized by scanning electron microscopy. In order to evaluate the consistency of the obtained nonwoven we study the tensile strength. | es_ES |
| es_ES |
