Proyecto de plantación con encina micorrizada (Quercus ilex spp. rotundifolia Lam) e inoculación de avellanos (Corylus avellana) para la producción de trufa negra (Tuber melanosporum Vitt.) en el término municipal de Benassal (Castellón)

Abstract

[ES] El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo la plantación, con encinas micorrizadas (Quercus ilex spp. rotundifolia Lam), de un terreno de cultivo agrícola destinado a la producción de cereal de 7,5 ha y una inoculación de avellanos (Corylus avellana) de un terreno de 3 ha destinado ya a la producción de avellanas, para la producción de trufa negra (Tuber melanosporum Vitt.) en el término municipal de Benassal (Castellón). La parcela contará con un sistema de riego por microaspersión que actuará como riego de apoyo en los meses con un balance hídrico desfavorable para que el crecimiento y maduración del hongo sea el idóneo. Las condiciones climáticas del municipio y las características edáficas del terreno hacen que la zona elegida tenga una elevada potencialidad para la obtención de trufa. Dado el valor económico de la trufa y su arraigo en la zona, hacen que este tipo de plantaciones sean las más rentables para los agricultores de Benassal revitalizando tanto social como económicamente el municipio, ya que los terrenos están muy abancalados y el precio al que se paga la avellana no es suficiente para cubrir los costes de producción.

[EN] The objective of this project is the plantation, with mycorrhizal oaks (Quercus ilex spp. Rotundifolia Lam), of an agricultural cultivation land destined to the cereal production of 7.5 ha and an inoculation of hazel trees (Corylus avellana) of a plot of 3 hectares has already been used for the production of hazelnuts, for the production of black truffle (Tuber melanosporum Vitt.) in the municipality of Benassal (Castellón).
