Multidisciplinary approach for a body tile development

Abstract

[EN] This project is focused on the analysis of a body tile, which is a mixture of clays pressed into shape and fired at high temperatures which gives its strength, made for developing a better body for a customer of Torrecid. In this project are treated different aspects of the analysis in ceramics and all the process carried out to find a better solution for the presented problem through the different methods used for the analysis of the properties in ceramics. In this project the main aim is to analyze each customer’s raw material, determine the properties of each one in the body and with this information make a new body formula improving the previous one.
