Estudio y rediseño de tijas para motocicleta de motocross

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo del presente trabajo es la elaboración de un estudio de unas tijas ya existentes en el mercado con la intención de rediseñarlas mejorando diferentes aspectos como dimensiones, materiales, anclajes y puntos de giro, entre otros. En este estudio se tendrá en cuenta las características de éstas tanto de forma individual o independiente, como en relación con su comportamiento en la motocicleta. Esto permitirá identificar las carencias del diseño y las posibles mejoras a implementar en las nuevas tijas, las cuales nos ayudarán a perfeccionar el comportamiento de la motocicleta frente al cronometro y la comodidad del piloto durante las carreras de competición. En el desarrollo del trabajo se realizarán estudios y simulaciones de materiales, de dimensiones y de solicitaciones, con el objetivo de lograr un rediseño óptimo de las nuevas tijas. Una vez diseñadas las tijas, se estudiará el proceso de fabricación, analizando los costes y detalles de todo el proceso. Por último, se prevé tratar de elaborar un "prototipo" de modo experimental para poder comparar y observar las mejoras propuestas en el diseño y como afectarán, de manera positiva, en el comportamiento de la motocicleta, haciéndola así más competitiva.

[EN] The objective of this work is to carry out a study of some seatposts already on the market with the intention of redesigning them, improving different aspects such as dimensions, materials, anchors and pivot points, among others. In this study, their characteristics will be taken into account both individually or independently, and in relation to their behavior on the motorcycle. This will make it possible to identify the design flaws and the possible improvements to be implemented in the new seatposts, which will help us to improve the behavior of the motorcycle in front of the timer and the comfort of the rider during competitive races. During the development of the work, studies and simulations of materials, dimensions and loads will be carried out, with the aim of achieving an optimal redesign of the new seatposts. Once the seatposts have been designed, the manufacturing process will be studied, analyzing the costs and details of the entire process. Finally, it is planned to try to develop a "prototype" in an experimental way to be able to compare and observe the proposed improvements in the design and how they will affect, in a positive way, the behavior of the motorcycle, thus making it more competitive.
