Se analizará la situación actual de la empresa y se tratará de identificar las diferentes problemas de los procesos de producción o los posibles puntos de mejora.
Se llevará a cabo una serie de metodologías tales como TQM (Total Quality Management), Six Sigma, Kaizen etc. El objetivo final es la optimización de los procesos y reducir los costes sin afectar a la calidad del servicio.

[EN] In this thesis for the master os Industrial Engineering, I am going to present a model for the
implementattion of Lean Manufacturing approach and some of its main techniques emphasizing
on a Chemical Industry Company.
Nowadays, the chemical industry, like most other sectors, finds itself in a highly competitive
environment. The customer is the protagonist, and the one who generally establishes the
functioning of the company by means of orders and their requirements.
Due to this competitive situation and the customer-focused business, this work focuses on
analysing and proposing improvements through continuous improvement techniques for an
SMED, such as Lean Manufacturing. The aim is to improve production and therefore
competitiveness, thus helping the degree of customer satisfaction and the Quality-Price ratio.
To do this, we will first describe the company, its current growth situation, its production
processes and its main problems.
Afterwards, the theoretical foundations of Lean Manufacturing will be presented, i.e.
principles, techniques, benefits and the approach towards continuous improvement. These
elements are the basis for the subsequent application of Lean techniques.
Finally, the practical part. In this part, the previously described techniques will be applied to
improve production. SMED techniques, 5s, creation of GAPs with the TOP 5 and TOP 20
meetings will be applied, and by using the established indicators, the state of improvement and
the achievement of the objectives will be checked.
