Cooperativa de viviendas en Marítim-Serrería.

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto consiste en un nuevo modo de habitar, un habitar cooperativo entre los habitantes del edificio y el vecindario del entorno.

El lugar escogido para la realización de estas viviendas colectivas es un gran solar en el barrio de Ayora, frente a la estación Marítim-Serrería. A pesar de ser un enclave condenado a la especulación y de no estar bien resuelto, es un lugar lleno de vida. Se toma como un reto en el que mejorar la calidad de vida del vecindario próximo a la parcela y de los habitantes de la cooperativa, a partir de las oportunidades que nos ofrece el emplazamiento.

Este habitar cooperativo se materializa en un gran complejo de viviendas y espacios comunes. El elemento protagonista es un corredor que recorre todo el complejo, articulando los espacios del habitar, dotándolo de riqueza y complejidad formal. En planta baja se sustrae parte del volumen, generando entradas al interior de la cooperativa, dando a 3 espacios públicos de diferentes escalas que incitan a acceder y disfrutar de un espacio de calidad, diseñado para el disfrute de todos los ciudadanos. Un recinto de vital importancia dentro del proyecto es la escuela de danza María Carbonell, ubicada en una medianera de la parcela, la cual se amplía hacia la plaza pública de la cooperativa generando un punto de interés local para los ciudadanos.

En definitiva, lo que se propone es un habitar cooperativo en un lugar estratégico de la ciudad de Valencia, el cual mejore el urbanismo existente, se cree una nueva forma de habitar en comunidad y aumente la calidad de vida de las personas que vivan y pasen por allí.

[EN] This project consists of a new way of living, a cooperative living between the inhabitants of the building and the surrounding neighbourhood.

The place chosen for the construction of these collective dwellings is a large plot in the district of Ayora, right in front of the Marítim-Serrería station. Despite being an enclave condemned to speculation and not being well resolved It is a place full of life. It is taken as a challenge to improve the quality of life of the neighbourhood near the plot and of the inhabitants of the cooperative, based on the opportunities offered by the location.

This cooperative living is materialised in a large complex of dwellings and common spaces. The main element is a corridor that runs through the whole complex, articulating the living spaces, giving it richness and formal complexity. On the ground floor, part of the volume is subtracted, generating entrances to the interior of the cooperative giving way to 3 public spaces of different scales that encourage access and enjoyment of a quality space designed for the enjoyment of all citizens. An enclosure of vital importance within the project is the María Carbonell dance school, located on a party wall of the plot, which is extended towards the public square of the cooperative, generating a point of local interest for the citizens.

On balance, what is proposed is a cooperative dwelling in a strategic place in the city of Valencia, which improves the existing urban planning, creates a new way of living in community and increases the quality of life of the people who live and stroll through it.
