RESTAURACIÓN Y PROPUESTA DE CONSERVACIÓN PREVENTIVA DEL ESTANDARTE DE LA COMISIÓN FALLERA DE PLAZA DE LA REINA, PAZ Y SAN VICENTE ''TIO PEP''

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo de final de grado se ha centrado en la restauración de la obra del estandarte perteneciente a la comisión fallera de Plaza de la Reina, Paz y San Vicente ''Tio Pep''. La metodología de actuación ha consistido en el estudio de materiales, técnicas y estado de conservación, con los datos obtenidos se ha elaborado una propuesta de intervención adaptada a las necesidades de la obra.

La contextualización histórica ha puesto de manifiesto la importancia de esta obra y la necesidad de su salvaguarda ya que es una manifestación física del patrimonio inmaterial que atesora la falla de Plaza de la Reina, Paz y San Vicente.

La evaluación del estado de conservación se ha realizado mediante la exhaustiva inspección y toma de registros fotográficos con diferentes técnicas e iluminaciones con fotografías generales, de detalle y macrofotografías. Este registro nos ha proporcionado la información sobre el tipo de patologías de la obra, estructura del estandarte y análisis de ligamentos de los tejidos y técnicas de ornamentación. El análisis de los resultados de las pruebas de pH, estudio de solidez de tintes y tensión superficial nos han indicado que es una obra muy sensible al medio acuoso y su pH no es excesivamente ácido. Los análisis de fibras han determinado la naturaleza proteica de estas siendo seda en el tejido del bordado y lana en los tejidos generales. Por último, el factor determinante en la propuesta y acciones de restauración ha sido la disposición estratigráfica del bordado. Este está realizado sobre un tejido de seda al que se le ha adherido una entretela de refuerzo con mucho adhesivo, este conjunto ha sido ribeteado con un cordón de hilos entorchados mediante la técnica de hilos tendidos. Esta disposición es la que marca la estrategia de limpieza que se ha tenido que abordar mediante gel rígido y las acciones de consolidación mediante costura.

[EN] This final degree project has focused on the restoration of the work of the pennant belonging to the Fallas commission of Plaza de la Reina, Paz and San Vicente "Tio Pep". The methodology of action has consisted of the study of materials, techniques and state of conservation, with the data obtained an intervention proposal adapted to the needs of the work has been prepared.

The historical contextualization has revealed the importance of this work and the need for its safeguarding since it is a physical manifestation of the intangible heritage that treasures the fault of Plaza de la Reina, Paz and San Vicente.

The evaluation of the state of conservation has been carried out through the exhaustive inspection and taking of photographic records with different techniques and lighting with general and detailed photographs and macrophotographs. This record has provided us with information on the type of pathologies of the work, the structure of the banner and analysis of tissue ligaments and ornamentation techniques. The analysis of the results of the pH tests, study of dye fastness and surface tension have indicated that it is a work that is very sensitive to the aqueous medium and its pH is not excessively acidic. Fiber analyzes have determined their protein nature, being silk in embroidery fabric and wool in general fabrics. Finally, the determining factor in the proposal and restoration actions has been the stratigraphic arrangement of the embroidery. This is made on a silk fabric to which a reinforcing interlining with a lot of adhesive has been adhered, this set has been edged with a cord of gimped threads using the laid-thread technique. This provision is the one that marks the cleaning strategy that has had to be addressed through rigid gel and consolidation actions through sewing.
