Analyzing and processing electrodermal activity with affectiva Q-Sensor

[EN] The purpose of this study is to develop pattern recognition software to process electrodermal activity data collected from people on the autism spectrum. Sheffield Hallam University is working with Autism Group Speak up in Rotherham, UK. The aim of the project is to identify seizures in a subject to improve everyday life of people with emotional vulnerabilities and help the people around them. In this project we have used the Q - sensor device to collect electrodermal activity from a subject. This device is made by Affectiva Company. The group has collected data during 7 months and created a feedback about the experience. This study attempts to help future investigation to identify and diagnoses possible seizures in a subject on the autism spectrum. As during the work on this project several additional materials together with a significant amount of data have been collected, the report is accompanied by an USB stick.
