Redució d'emprenta de CO2 en formigons estructurals

Abstract

[ES] La producción de cemento Portland supone alrededor de un 6% del total de las emisiones de CO2 a la atmósfera. La finalidad del trabajo es observar cada una de las distintas opciones que permitiesen una reducción de las emisiones de CO2 a la atmósfera, causadas por la fabricación de clinker de cemento Portland. En unos casos, estos niveles de emisión se podrían reducir con la substitución de parte del cemento contenido en el hormigón, por adiciones como cenizas volantes, humo de sílice o escorias siderúrgicas. En otros casos, sería gracias a la producción de cementos alternativos, como los supersulfatados, belíticos o alcalinos, lo que haría reducir este problema y conseguir el objetivo de salvaguardar el medio ambiente.

[EN] The production of Portland cement accounts for about 6% of total CO2 emissions to the atmosphere. There are many studies that demonstrate that these levels can be reduced, in some cases it consist in to replace part of the cement, contained in the concrete, by additions such as fly ash, silica fume and steel slag, among others. In other cases, it is the production of alternative cements, such as the supersulfated, belite or alkaline, what makes reduce this problem and achieve the objective of safeguarding the environment. The aim of this work is to study each one of the options resulting in a reduction of CO2 emissions into the Earth's atmosphera.
