dc.description.abstract | It is well know that polycaprolactone polymer (PCL) is gaining in popularity in the field of tissue engineering, due to its nontoxic degradation bi-products, and its low cost of manufacture through injection moulding. Nevertheless, it is also a hydrophobic material, with most of the polymers being unfavourable when in contact with cells. This PCL research shows promise for future applications in tissue engineering. | es_ES |
