dc.description.abstract | The task of this thesis is to study the role of the tank configuration in the hydraulic system and how it and its components help the fluid to obtain good working conditions. One of the major breakdowns encountered in a fluid power system is the air trapped in the oil, thus the entry of large amounts of it in the system affects very negatively the efficiency. Therefore, it is very important to remove this air inside the tank before that it is introduced into the system. This thesis aims to investigate different ways to release the air during the storage of the fluid in the tank. Thereby avoiding the problems of cavitation and corrosion significantly, resulting a better system performance, an increase in the components life and a lower cost of maintenance. | es_ES |
