Abstract

The development of the concept will require materials knowledge, to investigate with structures and to discover the mechanisms that will allow it to work. I will achieve it by own research and testing, and by interviewing with experts. Hurricanes are becoming more usual, and not the whole population has access to protection. As people are reluctant to leave their belongings, it is of interest to have the protection in-residence. That will keep the user calmer, and it will avoid troubles of people mobilization and organization in common refuges. In my primary research I’m going to investigate about past hurricanes with the aim of knowing a little more the problem that I’m facing. I want to obtain more information about the user, who would it be and how did he act in past cases. I also want to know the other products that are being used currently.
