Design of ways to integrate a monolithic catalyst into a scramjet combustor injector strut

[ES] The objective of the present Master Thesis is the design of a suitable way to integrate a monolithic catalyst of aluminium oxide in the pilot flame strut of a SCRAMJET engine. The chosen solution must be able to hold the catalyst in all three axes, to resist the forces exerted on the catalyst and to resist the high temperatures of the combustion chamber. As additional conditions, the supersonic flow around the strut must remain in the same range of velocities as originally designed, and the pilot injector must operate without hindrance.
