ESTUDIO TÉCNICO Y PROPUESTA DE INTERVENCIÓN DE TRES TABLAS S. XVI DEL MUSEO CATEDRALICIO DE SEGORBE

Abstract

[EN] The goal of this final work degree is the study and development of a restoration project of three panels of sixteenh century which belong to the Cathedral Museum of Segorbe. The paintings are made in a popular style. These are in a room today in desuse,inside the museum. The paintings are in a middling state of conservation. It is therefore the principal goal of this work is to study how the pieces are technically made to be able to propose a number of restoration treatments to ensure the stability of each one. By the fact of being exposed in a restricted area to the public it has been decided to devote a section on preventive conservation guidelines. The aim of this section is to prolong the preservation of paintings over years.

[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo final de grado es el estudio y elaboración de un proyecto de restauración de tres tablas del s.XVI, pertenecientes a la colección del Museo de la Catedral de Segorbe. Se trata de pinturas de marcado caracter popular que se ubican en una sala de exposición, hoy en día en desuso, dentro del museo. Las tablas se encuentran en un estado de conservación regular. Es por ello que en este trabajo se ha estudiado cómo se conforman las piezas a nivel técnico para después poder proponer una serie de tratamientos de restauración que aseguren la estabilidad de cada una de ellas. También se ha considerado conveniente dedicar un apartado sobre pautas en la conservación preventiva. Este apartado tiene como objetivo mejorar la preservación de las pinturas a largo plazo.
