Turismo y Literatura: La Ruta del Juego de Tronos

Abstract

The Project focuses on the saga of Game of Thrones, due to the great success of the novel ¿A Song of Ice and Fire¿, by George RR Martin, as proves the fact that 5 novels have been written as continuation of the story and a TV series has been launched, and obtained several media prizes. This proposal is a route that develops in the countries of Spain, France, Germany and England. It consists on identifying the most characteristic families of the saga with one of the counties. It offers the modality of living the experience as part of the mentioned family related to that country. The route proposes visiting and staying in castles or places related to the story and prepared for it, and to carry out activities and live during the period, as though in the real book story. For this locations have been chosen because of their medieval heritage.

El proyecto se centra en la saga de Juego de tronos, debido al gran auge que ha tenido la novela ¿Canción de hielo y fuego¿, siendo que ya se han escrito cinco novelas que le prosiguen, además de ser impulsada por su filmación para la televisión y que se ha despertado gran interés por su historia. Esta propuesta es una ruta que se desarrolla por los países de España, Francia, Alemania e Inglaterra. Consiste en identificar a las familias más características de la saga con cada país, con la modalidad de poder vivir la experiencia sintiéndose parte de dicha familia. La ruta tiene como característica el visitar y pernoctar en castillos o lugares idóneos ambientados para tal fin, al igual que realizar actividades y vivir durante la estancia como si se estuviera en el libro. Para ello se han escogido estas localizaciones debido a su patrimonio medieval que favorecen a la ruta en cuestión.
