Ruta turística por el Teruel mudéjar

Abstract

Development of a touristic route inside the city of Teruel, following the most notorial steps from Mudejar architecture, an essential part from the city¿s cultural patrimony. The route will focus on the historical center of Teruel,where the towers of San Martin and El Salvador, the Cathedral and the San Pedro church are located, all of them declared as World Heritage Sites. Along the route will be studied both the Mudejar art techniques and the respective history, trying to reinterpret these monuments and give them the historical value they deserve

Elaboración de una ruta turística en el interior de la ciudad de Teruel, siguiendo las huellas más notables de la arquitectura mudéjar, parte esencial del patrimonio cultural de la ciudad. La ruta se centrará en el casco histórico de Teruel, donde se encuentran las torres de San Martín y El Salvador, la catedral y la iglesia de San Pedro, todas ellas reconocidas como Patrimonio de la Humanidad. A lo largo de la ruta se estudiarán tanto las técnicas del arte mudéjar como las historias de las que procede, intentando reinterpretar dichos monumentos y darles el valor histórico que merecen.
