TRATAMIENTOS DE CONSERVACIÓN IN SITU EN LA TUMBA DE OBELLIUS FIRMUS, POMPEYA

Abstract

Este trabajo ha sido realizado en el yacimiento arqueológico de Pompeya, Italia. En él encontrareis una aproximación documental de la antigua ciudad romana y una exposición de los trabajos de excavación en el yacimiento. Estas labores se centran en la tumba de Obellius Firmus, situada en la necrópolis de Porta Nola, descubierta en el año 1975. De ahí que se describa la historia y la arquitectura de la tumba, junto al estado de conservación y los tratamientos de intervención realizados en la misma. Por último, se expone la problemática de la cubierta actual, ya que tras un examen se observa que no cumple su función y se citan las características básicas que debería tener la cubierta ideal para este tipo de arquitectura.

This work is done in Pompei¿s archaelogical site, located in Italy. In it you will find a documentary approach of the ancient roman city and an exposition of the excavation work on the site, which started since its discovery, in 1748, until nowadays, in 2015. These works are focused on Obellius Firmus¿s tomb, located in Porta Nola necropoli, discovered in 1975. Hence the fact that the history and the architecture of the tomb is described with the conservation status and the intervention treatments done in there. Finally, the problema a of the actual cover is exposed and it is mention some of the basics features that the ideal cover should have for this type of architecture in order solve it.
