(Periodic table of Architectresses) is a video with storyline of Ernesta Caviola, (directed by Giorgio Angelico and screenplayed by Giulio Rizzo)included in video exhibition “Looking for Lina” curated by Sarah Catalano and Ernesta Caviola with Daniele Menichini during the 17th. International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia. This project to research and publicise the commitment of women in the field of architecture is part of the objectives of the Associazione Culturale Architettrici), founded in Rome in 2020 by Francesca Ameglio, Raffaella Aragosa, Ernesta Caviola (president) -, Michela Ekstrom and Daniele Vergari. The name of the Association is borrowed from the ancient name given to herself by Plautilla Bricci (1616-1705). The term “architectress” in the Italian language has a far more appropriate meaning than the term “archi-tetta”, which lends itself to misogynistic interpretations. Furthermore, The Associazione Culturale Architettrici endorses Goal 5 of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, “enhance the use of enabling technology, in particular information and communication technology, to promote the empowerment of women”.20Reconocimiento - No comercial - Compartir igual (by-nc-sa)ArchitectressesFemale ArchitectureWomen ArchitectsPlautilla BricciEileen GrayCharlotte PerriandLina Bo BardiThe periodic table of architectressesComunicación en congreso10.4995/ICAG2023.2023.16835Abierto
