In order to obtain this objective, a number of secondary objectives were established: 1. Raise the issue of the presence of phosphorus in sewage treatment effluents. 2. Obtain the average amounts of phosphorus in the flows into and out of Castletroy Wastewater Treatment Plant. 3. Studying the technologies used in Castletroy Wastewater Treatment Plant. 4. Study of the variation of phosphorus by modifying the conditions of pH, type and concentration of coagulant. 5. Economic evaluation of the different possibilities taking into account the cost of the products used for treatment. 6. Choosing the best alternative of coagulant based on the results of the economic evaluation and aforementioned parameters. To do this, water from Castletroy Wastewater Treatment Plant was analyzed, where waters undergo both a chemical and biological nutrient removal process.Reserva de todos los derechosConsulta en la Biblioteca ETSI IndustrialesEliminación de fósforoDepuración del aguaAguas residualesTECNOLOGIA DEL MEDIO AMBIENTEIngeniero Industrial-Enginyer IndustrialOptimization of phosphorus removial from wastewater by chemical processesProyecto/Trabajo fin de carrera/gradoCerrado
