On the basis of these findings, the author makes a severe criticism of the recent intervention on this fortress because of its apparent indifference towards the building’s history and character. Loggia staff contacted the person in charge of the works to ask for an article on the project, but we still have not received this text, although we hope to publish it in the next issue of the magazine.[ES] Este artículo revela las conclusiones de la investigación sobre un edificio que, no obstante su ubicación geográfica, posee vínculos importantes con la cultura arquitectónica andalusí. A raíz de estos descubrimientos, su autor critica duramente la reciente intervención en este alcázar por su supuesta displicencia de la historia y del carácter del edificio.
