La Sierra del Ecuador se caracteriza por su irregular topografía, así como por la elevada altura sobre el nivel del mar y su clima, factores que la convierten en una región particular. Se analiza el contexto que concibe la arquitectura social, así como su relevancia en la realidad de la arquitectura social que arrojan conceptos aplicables. Se trabaja con sistemas constructivos prefabricados donde se vinculan materiales accesibles, reciclados y naturales debidamente aprovechados, con el fin de realizar una arquitectura que cubra las necesidades reales para superar el déficit de vivienda del país.In the present study it aims to see the prefabricated as a constructive solution within the Ecuadorian reality, taking as background the ancient architecture, vernacular and social that has arisen in this Andean region pointing to the Ecuadorian highlands. The highlands of Ecuador is characterized by its irregular topography and the high altitude above sea level and climate that make a particular region. The context that conceives social architecture is analyzed and its relevance to the reality of the social architecture that yield concepts applicable.
