They may be understood as partial "portrayals" of two monumental areas, the Prado-Recoletos Axis and Gran Via. The conceptual unit is established on the basis of two mixed considerations: on the one side, the possibilities of action in the context of new graphic media and the ancient purposes of drawing; on the other side, the relationship between research and dissemination in the field of urban cartography in a broader sense.[ES] Se presentan dos producciones en el ámbito de la representación urbana, aplicadas a la ciudad de Madrid. Ambas se entienden unitariamente a modo de "retratos" parciales de dos ámbitos monumentales como son el eje Prado-Recoletos y la Gran Vía.
