This paper presents the research work carried out as far as the different protection methods of the removed paintings are concerned in order to separate them from the above-mentioned frame and remount them in another more appropriate frame.Las pinturas murales de la bóveda de la nave central de la Iglesia de los Santos Juanes de Valencia fueron arrancadas en los años 60 por medio de "strappo" y recolocadas en un nuevo soporte de madera contrachapada.
