Through the Ferme Radieuse and the Village Radieux, combined in the Unité d'explotation agricole, Le Corbusier designed a theory of territorial development that included technology, improved habitability and increased social inclusion of farmers, without losing the essence of contact with nature. He created a model of agrarian reform based on the maintenance of the property and the establishment of land owner-workers cooperatives. It was organized by a comprehensive connectivity between functions and materialized through the use of contemporary techniques and building systems.
