Se va a optimizar la celosía completa de un centro deportivo de la Universidad de A Coruña, cuyos arquitectos son Javier Estévez Cimadevila y José A. Vázquez Rodríguez. La estructura original está construida en madera, nosotros la estudiaremos cambiando el material a acero. Primero se aportará una descripción del edificio y su proceso constructivo, así como de la celosía en particular, para así poder modelizarla. Por último, mediante el programa de cálculo Architrave y VTAM, web de optimización, se estudiarán diferentes variantes de la celosía original, así como propuestas distintas, buscando aquellas que necesiten una cantidad de material menor. El proceso irá descartando aquellas configuraciones que claramente se vean alejadas del resto, centrándose en las que obtengan mejores resultados.[EN] The premise of this essay is to improve a structure from the point of view of reducing its material, economic and environmental cost. The complete spatial truss of a sports center at the University of A Coruña, whose architects are Javier Estévez Cimadevila and José A. Vázquez Rodríguez, is going to be optimized. The original structure is built in wood, we will study it by changing the material to steel. First, a description of the building and its construction process will be provided, as well as the spatial truss in particular, in order to model it.
