ABSTRACT The Casa de la Ciudad, former City Hall of Valencia, was demolished between 1854 and 1860 in a disputed debate. Only a few fragments and a description of a few pages -made when it was obvious the end of the building- have survived. Mossen Sorell Palace, which was the best preserved Gothic house in Valencia, burned in 1878. Some remains scattered through several countries and a series of drawings have transmitted his memory to the present. The work presented has attempted to collect all the scattered information of these buildings, concluding with a graphic reconstruction -both planimetric and detail- and analyzing their importance within the national context.
