ANALYSIS OF LABORAL CLIMATE AND PRODUCTIVITY IN SMALL AND MEDIUM COMPANIES: THE VERTICAL TRANSPORT INDUSTRY IN THE CITY OF BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA) ABSTRACT In last decades, world-wide extension and national economy led companies to redesign organizational processes through their internal and external clients’ satisfaction, in order to optimize the return in the market. In the same way, several researches about this topic agree in the importance of human resources management to obtain a positive climate to obtain a permanent improvement of product and services quality. For this, this work studies where and how the climate impacts in the productivity of medium and small companies. Because of the wide of this objective, we reduce it to the medium and small companies on the vertical transport industry in the City of Buenos Aires (Argentina). A study case was developed and completed with a non experimental and empirical research by applying qualitative and quantitative data tools and asking the employees of the companies selected as object of study. By using techniques as tests and direct observation, we have reached the conclusion that the negative aspects of the variables tend to be very high in indicators as cooperation, solving conflicts and identification with the company’s objectives. This is because of a deficient human resources management. So, it is possible to corroborate the hypothesis. As conclusions, we present some possible solutions to detected deficiencies, more or less effectives according to each organization. Related analysis and research lines are still open about this topic.
