TRAYECTORIAS. REALIZACIÓN DE UN DOCUMENTAL DE CREACIÓN

Abstract

Este proyecto consiste en la realización de un documental de creación, cuya temática ahonda en cómo es la vida de mi familia tras el diagnóstico de Parkinson a mi padre, hace ahora doce años. Analizo, a través de varios lugares de la infancia, los cambios que han surgido con el proceso de la enfermedad. Estos surgen de un álbum familiar de mi padre en el que fotografías de los mismos sitios se repiten año tras año. El proyecto se estructura en dos partes, por un lado, aquello de lo que quiero hablar: la convivencia con mi padre y el Parkinson, mi propio enfrentamiento personal entorno a ello, hablar desde el punto de vista de quién acompaña y cuida, de la familia. Por otra parte, la forma en la que lo cuento: la experimentación con el espacio cinematográfico, los objetos y los lugares como elementos narrativos. Así, a través del álbum fotográfico de mi padre, escojo tres lugares y vuelvo allí para grabar su estado actual.

This project consists of the realization of a documentary, which shows my family¿s dynamics after my father has been diagnosed with Parkinson, twelve years ago. I analyze, across several places of my childhood, the changes that arose in my family, and made our lives change as the disease progressed. The chosen spaces included in the movie are coming from a family photo album which belongs to my father, in which some places are repeated year after year in the photographies. The project is structured in two parts: the first part includes the topic: my communal living with my father, my struggle with the disease, speaking from the point of view of the person who accompanies and takes care of the family. On the other hand, it¿s the way in which I want to tell the story: my work line in the audiovisual and photographic field comes closer to the experimentation of the space and objects, as a narrative element. This way, across my father's photographic album, I choose three places and return there to record their current condition.
