Análisis de una vivienda: alquería contemporánea de Antonio Escario

Abstract

[ES] Historia, desarrollo y visión actual de una vivienda situada en una finca de explotación agraria realizada por el estudio valenciano EVV (Escario, Vidal y Vives) a principios de los años 60. En este trabajo de fin de grado se realiza una aproximación al contexto de la construcción de la vivienda, la relación entre cliente y arquitecto en su primera obra y la adaptación de esta para un nuevo uso medio siglo después del proyecto original.

[EN] The objective of this End of Degree Project is to document and analyze a house designed by the architect Antonio Escario at the beginning of his extensive production. Based in Valencia contributed with his skill to build since the mid60s constructions that stand out for their high elegance and technical refinement. Residential buildings and varied infrastructure fill most of his work, which is why the exhibition of this single-family house is interesting due to its lack of knowledge and because it is the author’s first work. Located in the municipality of Puzol, the dwelling forms part of a previous agrarian exploitation complex, turning this family house surrounded by orange trees into a newly built alquería that, with the passage of time and generational changes, no longer possesses the use to which it was destined at the time of its construction. A rehabilitation as a way of making a better use of the complex is proposed at the end of the analysis.
