Intgen House Centro Intergeneracional

Abstract

[ES] Una de las áreas más afectadas por el crecimiento urbano y el desarrollo del vehículo, se encuentra en la zona norte de Valencia, en los barrios de Orriols y Torrefiel. Esta zona cuenta con una gran barrera lineal provocada por la Ronda Norte, lo que ocasiona que se dificulte la relación ciudad-huerta. Esto ha llevado a que los barrios se hayan cerrado en sí mismos dificultando su crecimiento tanto urbano como demográfico, lo que ha llevado al lugar a contar con dos polos muy marcados, el de los juveniles y el de los ancianos, dejando una heterogeneidad en las franjas de edades intermedias. Intgen House pretende elevar el nivel de actividad de las calles y fomentar las relaciones humanas. Por ello se propone crear un espacio social intergeneracional que fomente la actividad social entre las distintas generaciones que encontramos en los barrios de Orriols y Torrefiel. Apoyado con una amplia parcela, el edificio cuenta con: salas multifuncionales donde distintas generaciones se pueden relacionar entre ellas; una zona de actividades físicas para todas las edades; salas de lectura; y, por último, un gran espacio público que se usará para relacionar estas distintas actividades a través de los tránsitos proyectados bajo la planta primera. También se pretende que este espacio se utilice una vez el edificio se encuentre cerrado como punto de reunión del barrio o de actividades sociales.

[EN] One of the areas most affected by urban growth and the development of the vehicle, is in the area north of Valencia, in the neighbourhoods of Orriols and Torrefiel. This area has a large linear barrier caused by the Ronda North, which causes the city-garden relationship to be difficult. This has led to the neighbourhoods have closed in themselves hindering their growth both urban and demographic, which has led to the place to have two very marked poles, the youth and the elderly, leaving a heterogeneity in the intermediate ages. Intgen House aims to raise the level of activity of the streets and promote human relations. Therefore, it is proposed to create an intergenerational social space that fosters social activity between generations can be found in the neighbourhoods of Orriols and Torrefiel. Supported with a large plot, the building has: multifunctional rooms where different generations can interact between them; an area of physical activities for all ages; reading rooms; and, finally, a great public space that will be used to relate these different activities through transits projected under the first floor. It is also intended that this space be used once the building is closed as point of meeting of the neighbourhood or social activities.
