Centro Intergeneracional en Almansa

Abstract

[ES] El trabajo consiste en la proyección de un Centro Intergeneracional situado en Almansa, una pequeña ciudad al sureste de Castilla-La Mancha. El edificio forma parte del diseño de un entorno situado muy próximo al centro histórico de la ciudad.

El ámbito a desarrollar se ubica en la parte norte, se trata de una zona que actualmente se encuentra en desuso y en la que se pretende crear nueva zona de crecimiento que permita la expansión de la ciudad.

La elección de esta zona se debe tanto a su situación, por encontrarse muy próxima al centro histórico, prácticamente a las orillas del Castillo, como a la necesidad de crear un nuevo espacio que permita descongestionar la ciudad. A partir de la creación de un nuevo eje donde se ubican distintos equipamientos públicos, el Centro Intergeneracional se presenta como un nexo de unión entre el centro histórico y la nueva zona de crecimiento, pero también en un entorno más cercano como la unión entre la trama urbana y una nueva zona verde planteada a partir del desnivel existente en el terreno.

[EN] The project consists of the projection of an Intergenerational Center located in Almansa, a small town in the southeast of Castilla-La Mancha. The building takes part of the design of an environment located very close to the historic centre of the city.

The area to develop is located to the north, which is currently in disuse and in which it is expected to create a new growth zone that allows the expansion of the city.

The choice of this area is due both to its location, because it is very close to the historic centre, which is practically on the edge of the Castle, and to the need to create a new space in order to decongest the city. From the creation of a new axis in which different public facilities are located, the Intergenerational Center is presented as a link between the historic center and the new growth area, but also in a closer environment such as the connection between urban scene and a new green area designed taking into consideration the existing gradient of the land.
