PROYECTO DE PUESTA A PUNTO Y OPTIMIZACIÓN DE UN BANCO DE GASES SINTÉTICOS PARA ENSAYOS DE SISTEMAS DE POS-TRATAMIENTO

Abstract

[ES] La reducción de gases contaminantes emitidos por los sistemas propulsivos de combustión es una prioridad para todos los fabricantes, una de las vías utilizadas para conseguir este objetivo es el uso de sistema de post-tratamiento de los gases de escape. Para desarrollar y optimizar dichos sistemas es necesario disponer de bancos de ensayos donde se puedan controlar tanto la composición química de los gases como sus parámetros térmicos y fluidodinámicos. En este trabajo se propone optimizar la configuración de un banco de gases sintéticos para su utilización en ensayos de caracterización de sistemas de post-tratamiento de gases de escape de motores de combustión. Como objetivos específicos se proponen los siguientes: - Diseñar diferentes intercambiadores de calor para los gases - Evaluar el sistema de acondicionamiento térmico de los gases generados en el banco

[EN] In this document, a set-up of a gas post-treatment test bench will be set up as well as improvement to it in order to achieve the desired conditions. For this will be mixed synthetic gases in order to obtain a similar composition of a vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine. To get an idea of the composition of a exhaust gas, some test will be carried out on an internal combustion engine with the same analyzer used in the synthetic gases generator. Furthermore, as the entire exhaust pipe is equipped with temperature sensors, it will be possible to obtain an order of magnitude of the temperature reached for different loads and speed of the engine, as well as in the after treatment system. In addition, the efficiency of conversion of a diesel oxidation catalyst will be evaluated. Once the test have been carry out on the engine, the pertinent improvement will be made in the gas generator in order to be able to reach the temperature obtained in the after treatment of the internal combustion engine.
