Monitorización de Redes y Sistemas

Abstract

[ES] La monitorización es un aspecto muy importante dentro del campo de los sistemas, ya que posibilitan a los administradores de sistemas una serie de ventajas. Una de ellas es la anticipación a una posible caída del sistema. Estos sistemas de monitorización también nos proporcionan la habilidad de tener la infraestructura operativa el máximo tiempo posible. Como sistema de monitorización se ha utilizado Zabbix. Este sistema se ha implementado en una infraestructura que pertenece al Departamento de Comunicaciones (DCOM), donde varias asignaturas hacen uso de esta para realizar exámenes y entregables. Para poder monitorizar la infraestructura, se han utilizado diferentes protocolos. Entre estos encontramos el SNMP. Este es uno de los más comunes para la monitorización de los sistemas y es el que mayormente se ha utilizado en el proyecto para la monitorización. La monitorización se ha vuelto más relevante, ya que ahora por la pandemia sufrida, se está realizando muchas actividades de forma remota. Lo que repercute en un mayor estrés a las infraestructuras y una mayor posibilidad de caída.

[EN] Monitoring is a very important aspect in the field of systems, since it provides system administrators with several advantages. One of them is the anticipation of a possible system crash. These monitoring systems also provide us with the ability to have the infrastructure operational for as long as possible. Zabbix has been used as a monitoring system. This system has been implemented in an infrastructure that belongs to the Communication Department (DCOM), where several subjects make use of it to carry out exams and deliverables. In order to monitor the infrastructure, different protocols have been used. Among these we find SNMP. This is one of the most common for monitoring systems and it is the one that has been used the most in the project for monitoring. Monitoring has become more relevant, since now due to the pandemic suffered, many activities are being carried out remotely. What has repercussions in a greater stress to the infrastructures and a greater possibility of fall.
