Plan técnico de ordenación cinegética del coto de caza CS10.162 en el T.M.de Villahermosa del Río, Castellón

Abstract

ES] El objetivo del Trabajo fin de Grado consiste en la renovación del Plan Técnico de Ordenación Cinegética (PTOC) en el coto de caza 10.162 en el T.M de Villahermosa del Río, provincia de Castellón. Este plan es un instrumento de ordenación con duración vigente para 5 años. Para su redacción se ha tenido en cuenta lo establecido en la Ley 13/2004, de 27 de diciembre, de caza de la Comunidad Valenciana. El documento se estructura en 4 partes fundamentales: estado legal, estado Natural, estado Cinegético y estado Económico. En la actualidad, las especies que constituyen el principal objetivo cinegético, tratándose de un coto de caza menor, son: Oryctolagus cuniculus (Conejo), Alectoris rufa (perdiz roja) y Lepus granatensis (liebre). Estas se encuentran en decaimiento poblacional. Dicha situación implicará la creación de medidas de mejora sin dejar en olvido el resto de las especies, ya sean cinegéticas o no. Complementariamente, la población de Sus scrofa (jabalí) está aumentando significativamente y, por ende, sus daños provocados en agricultura. Al ser un coto de caza menor, el control de jabalí tiene una normativa específica (ORDEN 3/2012, de 19 de enero, por la que se regula la caza y control) para controlar este tipo de situaciones. Con todo ello, se busca la ordenación sostenible de los recursos cinegéticos mediante las siguientes medidas: mejoras, protección, conservación y equilibrio de la fauna y hábitats existentes. Se contribuye así al control de enfermedades y reducción de daños en agricultura, ya que es una de las principales problemáticas actuales.

[EN] The objective of this final thesis consists of the renewal of the Technical Plan for Game Management (PTOC as Spanish abbreviation) in the hunting reserve 10.162 in T.M de Villahermosa del Río, Castellón province. This plan is a management instrument with a valid duration of 5 years. For its drafting, the provisions of Law 13/2004, of December 27, on hunting in the Valencian Community have been taken into account. The document is structured in 4 fundamental parts: Legal State, Natural State, Hunting State and Economic State. Currently, the species that constitute the main hunting objective, being this a small hunting ground, are: Oryctolagus cuniculus (Rabbit), Alectoris rufa (red partridge) and Lepus granatensis (hare). These are in population decline. This situation will imply the creation of improvement measures without forgetting the rest of the species, whether they are hunting species or not. Additionally, the population of Sus scrofa (wild boar) is increasing significantly and therefore its damage caused in agriculture. Being a small hunting ground, the wild boar control has specific regulations (ORDER 3/2012, of January 19, which regulates hunting and control) to control this type of situation. Having said this, the sustainable management of hunting resources should be achieved with the following measures: improvements, protection, conservation and balance of existing fauna and habitats. On this way, disease control and damage reduction in agriculture have a better control, since these are some of the main current problems.
