dc.description.abstract | [EN] Among the options explored for alternative energy sources, biodiesel is one of the major sources and one of the most attractive. Biodiesel is one of the major renewable energy sources, biodiesel has attracted considerable attention during the past decade as a renewable, biodegradable, and nontoxic fuel. Extraction from algae and transesterification of vegetable oils/fats are the leading process options for bio-diesel production on large scale.
