[EN] The main objective of this final degree project is the design of a power supply that
provides a continuous voltage of 5 V to charge mobile phones from the single-phase
alternating network.
First of all, the problem of feeding low-power devices has been studied. For this, the
different configurations of the power circuit and the driving modes have been analysed.
We have also compared the most used types of control, in voltage mode and current mode,
with their advantages and disadvantages.
As the adopted solution, the Flyback configuration working in discontinuous driving
mode (DCM) has been selected, as it is the most suitable for the proposed application.
Then, the characteristics of the transformer and power semiconductors have been
determined.
The type of control chosen is in peak current mode (CIC). Once the characteristics of the
circuit have been determined, a linearized model of the system has been obtained and the
appropriate compensator has been designed.
The power and control stage have been simulated in the Orcad Capture program, to verify
that the response of the model is stable and fast in the face of variations, both in the input
voltage and the load
