Porto Dubio. Proyecto de cómic infantil-juvenil

Abstract

[ES] La siguiente memoria recoge el proceso de la realización de un proyecto de cómic que narra la historia de Jules, un niño que vive en un barrio gris de Porto Dubio, y cómo su vida se enriquece al mudarse con su tía Lynn a un barrio colorido. Este cambio de ambiente le permitirá ganar confianza en sí mismo y entender mejor sus emociones. El cómic está enfocado a un público infantil-juvenil. La historia pretende representar la evolución emocional de un niño pasar de un ambiente monótono y restrictivo a uno abierto y diverso. Mi proyecto de fin de grado consiste en narrar la evolución emocional de Jules con este cambio de ambiente, teniendo como referentes trabajos tanto audiovisuales como de cómic infantil-juvenil contemporáneo. Para ello, será necesario el desarrollo y estructuración de un guion, junto con bocetos y diseños previos de los personajes y su entorno. Se presentará además un prototipo de primer capítulo a modo de introducción. La intención del trabajo es obtener como resultado un proyecto de cómic listo para ser presentado a editoriales.

[EN] The following thesis covers the process of making a comic project that tells the story of Jules, a child who lives in a grey neighbourhood in Porto Dubio, and how his life is enriched when he moves with his aunt Lynn to a colourful neighbourhood. This change of environment will allow him to gain self-confidence and better understanding his emotions. The comic is focused on a child-youth audience. The story aims to represent the emotional evolution of a child from a monotonous and restrictive environment to an open and diverse one. My end-of-grade project consists of narrating the emotional evolution of Jules with this change of environment, taking as reference works both audiovisual and contemporary children's-youth comics. For this, the development and structuring of a script will be necessary, along with sketches and previous designs of the characters and their environment. A prototype of the first chapter will also be presented as an introduction. The intention of the work is to obtain as a result a comic project ready to be presented to publishers.
