Turismo de salud en Marruecos: un mercado emergente

Abstract

[ES] El turismo de salud es un tipo de turismo que se caracteriza por su amplia oferta y su capacidad de generar una fuente de ingresos muy significativa. Aunque Marruecos disponga de muchos recursos naturales, no logra posicionarse como uno de los líderes internacionales del turismo de salud.

Este trabajo pretende, por una parte, la realización de un estudio para promocionar Marruecos como destino para el turismo de salud, y por otra parte, analizar la oferta turística y del turismo de salud actual en Marruecos. En este trabajo también hemos estudiado un posible mercado del Cannabis Medicinal que podría introducirse en el sector del turismo de salud y del que hemos constatado un gran dinamismo Se realizará además un análisis crítico sobre las razones por las cuales Marruecos no logra ser una de las destinaciones más importantes del mundo respecto al turismo de salud y el turismo en general.

[EN] Health tourism is a type of tourism characterized by its wide offer and its capacity to generate a very significant source of income. Although Morocco has many natural resources, it has not managed to position itself as one of the international leaders in health tourism.

This study aims, on the one hand, to carry out a study to promote Morocco as a destination for health tourism, and on the other hand, to analyze the current tourism and health tourism offer in Morocco. In this work we have also studied a possible market of Medical Cannabis that could be introduced in the health tourism sector and of which we have noted a great dynamism. A critical analysis will also be made on the reasons why Morocco fails to be one of the most important destinations in the world with respect to health tourism and tourism in general.
